
Beliefs you hold play a very important role in your life. Beliefs are like filters through which your mind filters all the information you get. After filtering this information, the brain creates subjective experiences due to these beliefs.
Today we will talk of two beliefs –belief in scarcity and belief in abundance. Gratitude is another form of belief in abundance.
Gratitude means being thankful from the bottom of your heart and not just in saying. Gratitude is the highest frequency emotion. The more you are grateful , the more you get to be grateful for. It doesn’t only include material things but also people and experiences.
If you are complaining most of the time and feeling that you “don’t have” this or that, then the vibrations you are sending to the universe is that “ I don’t have and I am not happy”. This is a BELIEF IN SCARCITY. People having this belief will always find that they have less in life and they will be unable to enjoy what they have. Due to these vibrations universe will not be able to give them more. Belief in scarcity means a belief that there is limited resources available in the universe that you have to keep fighting for your survival else you will not exist.
If you are grateful for what you have, you are vibrating your BELIEF IN ABUNDANCE. Belief in abundance means that there is ample amount of resources for everyone and so there is no need to fight for survival. All can coexist easily with all the resources. Being grateful means you are sending the message to the universe that you are pleased and thankful for what you have. Then universe feels that you have the capacity to take more and it gives you more- more of love, more experiences that provide you inner peace and more gifts.
Gratitude Exercise for Morning:
The first thing you do when you awaken in the morning is you thank your bed for providing the comfort and warmth to you for the entire night to you. Thank the air for being there the entire night providing you life giving oxygen, thank the mother earth for taking your weight , thank the nature for being there with you. After that you may thank for the many blessings you have. You do not just thank in words but actually see, hear and feel what you see, hear and feel when you have those blessings with you – as if you are in the movie where all these blessings are with you .
Gratitude Exercise for the Evening
In the evening before you go to sleep, practice being grateful for each experience of the day- because either it gave you direct happiness or it taught you something. Also forgive yourself for any wrong decisions you made , something inappropriate you said or some mistake you made . Pray that you learn whatever that experience or choice of yours had to teach you.
Gratitude Exercise for Life:
Be grateful for the lessons you have learned till now in life. Whenever you see some of your bad characteristic surfacing in your real life, it means that it has come to front so that it can be healed. Say “ thank you for showing me this so that i can heal it and move on in life”.
